Echo Stories is a Prague-based independent film production company founded by producer Iuliia Mamaeva, specializing in author-driven fiction and documentary films. We connect European talent with filmmakers from Central Asia and the Middle East, building a slate defined by international collaboration and cross-regional storytelling.

Our mission is to amplify unique voices and untold stories from diverse cultural backgrounds, creating films that resonate across borders. We focus on creative, author-driven projects that challenge conventional narratives and offer fresh perspectives on contemporary issues.

Although recently established, the company has quickly gained recognition in the international film community, participating in major development platforms including the MIDPOINT Series Launch/Short, Be2Be Exchange at MIA, East-West Talent Lab, and the ECAM Forum.

Currently in development is the debut feature film of director Liza Chakanova, "Kupala Night", which won the Belarusian Filmmakers' Network development incubator program and was presented at the Berlinale – BIFA Pitching Event 2026. The company's short animation "Nun" has been selected for the Zlín Film Festival, Anifilm 2026 and the Cannes Short Film Corner | Rendez-vous Industry. The comedy mockumentary series "Paralegal" is set to pitch at the Writers' Vision Pitch @ Seriencamp Festival 2026.
